I’m thinking about freedom this morning. Galatians says that Christ came to set us free. In a world where people try to enslave, subject, influence and rule freedom seems to be a precious commodity. So, why do we take it so for granted? I’m gulty of this. When Christ’s blood covered my sins I was overwhelmed at the realization of my freedom. But years later, there I days I forget the magnitude. I’ve been reading up on quotes from some of our Presidents and Constitution framers – some of whom put themselves in harms way to insure our freedom. I want that zeal and fervor emblazoned in my mind and heart anew today.
