Robin possesses an incredible cadre of gifts for ministry.  Borne out of a deep, personal faith in the Risen Lord, Jesus Christ, and grounded firmly in the matchless Word of God, Robin is a chosen vessel of God's redeeming and empowering grace to all she meets.

Robin's many gifts include an amazing teaching ability evidenced, especially, through Disciple Bible Study.  She connects remarkably well with people in her teaching and has a special love for women as well as young adults, both singles and married couples.

Robin is enthusiastic in her ministry, and an excellent public speaker.  It was my joy to present her to the church last fall and invite her to offer the teaching message in all three of our back-to-back Sunday worship services.  The combined congregation of 600 responded enthusiastically.  While I attend the World Methodist Council meeting in Durban, South Africa this summer, Robin has accepted my invitation to speak at nine worship services.

Robin serves the Conyers First United Methodist Church as a consultant in adult spiritual formation as well as primary resource person for all aspects of adult minsitries.  She is well organized, timely, dependable, an expert in print advertisement, a genuine team player and a trusted colleague.  Because of Robin, every aspect of our adult ministry has grown in numbers and spiritual depth.

When it comes to adult discipleship methodology, Robin Payne is one of the best in the ministry. Her years of experience have taught her how to minister to and with established, traditional churches and even church plants. During my time working with Robin at Snellville United Methodist Church, I observed her strengthen an existing Sunday School structure that was struggling to grow despite growth at the church’s worship services. After discernment, hard work, and the recruitment and equipping of others, Robin offered leadership that allowed a system to effectively grow in step with the worship attendance. In 10 years Robin grew the adult Sunday School from 10 classes offered at one hour to 26 classes during 2 hours of Sunday School.

Just prior to my departure, Robin conceptualized a discipleship process that would reach people for whom the existing, traditional Sunday School model would not reach. I often hear about the success of CREW at Snellville United Methodist Church. For this reason, I pray often for Robin and give thanks to God for His ministry through her!

Robin Payne has an amazing gift to inspire others to be excited about spending time in the Word of God. She has a tremendous passion for the Word and her enthusiasm is contagious. Through A242 Consulting, she has provided leadership for our church in many varied ways. She has led our church as a women's summer Bible Study leader, as speaker for our women's retreat, and trained our leaders in all age levels of Sunday School, Bible study and small groups. Recently, Robin led our Children's Advocacy Team in a "re-visioning" of our children's ministry. Robin helped ignite excitement about, not only what God could do in our children's ministry, but about what God was doing in our children's ministry and our church.
