Kim Kelley, Lead Information Facilitator

Kim Kelley is the Lead Information Facilitator for A242. I have known Kim for over 6 years. She is a woman of great humility. Kim has sharp organitzational abilities. She is a methodical planner and organizer and can always be counted on to make excellent choices. Kim has the ability to handle large loads of information, accurately assess needs, anticipate problems, filter information and dissect everything into manageable parts. She is an asset to our team. Kim is a strong team player. She is always available and ready to forge ahead – looking for what God has in store next. Her integrity and faith in God play a vital role in her leadership.

Tell us about your family.
My husband, Frank, and I were married 14 years.  In 2009 he passed away and God is teaching me to trust Him in the midst of trials and circumstances.  I continue to raise our blended family of 3 children, Lauren (21), Josh (18) and Shawn (15).

Tell us about your journey with God.
I was raised in the Methodist Church and personally asked Jesus into my life at age 10. I was an active member in my youth group and choir. I have worked with the youth as a small group leader. In addition to that, I became a member of a small group. It was during this time that I realized the Lord had given me a gift and that I needed to work for Him by helping others experience community through small groups.

What is your favorite Bible verse?
Psalm 139: 23-24....

Search me oh God, and know my heart
Test me and know my anxious thoughts.
See if there is any offensive way in me,
And lead me in the way everlasting.

What Biblical character do you most identify with, and why?
I identify mostly with Martha in the Bible. I balance many of the same things that all women balance. Therefore, I spend a lot of time yearning for a Mary heart in my Martha world! When I allow myself to come to Jesus with a teachable heart and not a busy heart, my heart is transformed time and time again.

What has God been showing you?
God has been showing me during this season of my life that if I stay out of HIS way, HE will lead the way. I continue to find that when I’ve chosen to do what God is prompting me to do, he has honored my decision. I always want to see God’s word as a lamp to my feet and a light for my path (Psalm 119:105).
